What Else You Need to Know
NYCP sees patients Monday through Friday on an appointment only basis.
If you are a patient please call the office to schedule an appointment. Or use the "Request An Appointment" button at the top of the page
If you would like to inquire about becoming a new patient, please fill out the "Request An appointment" form completely with as much information as possible.
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT!
Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of New York Child Psychiatry, and they will contact us.
The practice office is open for administrative needs from 9:30am until 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
If you reach the answering service please leave a detailed message and staff will return your call within 24 hours
We are closed most holidays.
-Insurance/Payment/Billing: We accept a variety of insurances which is frequently changing. It is best to contact your insurance directly to determine if the provider you would like to see is covered. Superbills are available for those with out-of-network benefits.
We offer payment plans and a sliding scale for qualified candidates.
We are cashless practice and accept Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®.

Prescriptions and refills for established patients of New York Child Psychiatry are routinely issued during our regular office hours with 72 hours notice . You can make your request through the patient portal or by calling our office at (518) 855-1984.
Refills are generally not issued during the weekends or holidays, as the doctors may not have access to all your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
We are unable to refill requests sent directly to pharmacies.
