Providers

New York Child Psychiatry situated in Saratoga Springs, NY, is proud of its team of highly skilled and experienced providers.

We have two types of providers currently: Medication Management Providers and Therapists

Therapists: At NYCP, our therapy providers are licensed clinicians who work with children, adolescents, and families to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. We help kids and teens understand what they are feeling, develop coping strategies, and build skills to manage stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or family conflict.

We use evidence-based approaches that are tailored to the individual. Our therapists collaborate closely with families, schools, and other care providers to create a support system that actually works. The goal is not perfection. It is progress, insight, and a stronger sense of self.

Therapy is not just about talking. It is about doing the work with someone trained to walk alongside you through it.

Medication Management Providers: Are dedicated to providing safe and effective care to pediatric patients, leveraging the most advanced treatments available. Medication often plays a pivotal role in mental healthcare, improving treatment efficacy and reducing the symptoms your child may be experiencing.

Medication management, a process that encompasses the prescription and ongoing monitoring of medication, is used to help relieve patient symptoms. Our providers are committed to providing evidence-based mental healthcare services, which includes the application of prescription medications. Continue reading to learn more about our providers:
